To Shorten Our Words
Michael Swaine addresses the cumbersome nature of language by shortening our words. Some examples of words that might be shortened at tomorrow's event: SCI for scissors or science, LAN for land or language and ABB for ABBA or abbreviation.
To Shorten Our Words is the tenth in a year-long series of enacted reading. Once a month from March 2013 through March 2014, Michael Swaine reads and performs a short text-based work at Southern Exposure. Stay tuned for the final two moments of brevity in February and March!
