Work-in-Progress Monthly Salon
Select Wednesdays
August 27; September 24; October 29; November 19, 2025
6:00–8:00 PM
Join Southern Exposure for our pilot monthly work-in-progress share and community gathering. Artists can sign up here to perform or present works in any form, share images of work, or propose new ideas! Reach new audiences and receive feedback from Southern Exposure’s Curatorial Council and peers. Four participants will each have 5-15 minutes in which to present a project or body of work, followed by an optional community discussion of their project or idea, led by a member of Southern Exposure’s Curatorial Council. August’s salon will be hosted by artist and curator Aay Preston Myint. Artists will be selected at random from those who sign up. The closing date to sign up to present your work at our first gathering on August 27 is August 24. Bring specific questions if you would like the community to provide feedback. SoEx will provide a projector and speakers. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
