This exhibition is a collection of digital photographs of self-generated objects that simulate everyday items like rubber bands and pen caps. Bakker’s images are formal investigations that also act as evidence of the artist’s site-specific installations in the Mission District. Bakker deposits handcrafted wooden replicas of discarded articles on city streets, snaps a photograph, and then leaves his creation behind.
