Ruth Scheuing is a Canadian visual artist whose concerns for the traditions of weaving as cultural myth puts text back into textiles. Scheuing unravels masculinity literally and figuratively through the foregrounding of a geneology of ‘woman’s work.’

Stephanie Ellis…is a visual artist and arts writer. Her ‘gigantic’ female clothing uses hyperbole to upset traditional notions of the ‘little woman.’ Ellis’s garments side-step essentialist notions of ‘feminity’ and reflect her research into the intersections of fantasy and spectacle.
