Life At The Top is a painting installation that explores the influence of Catholicism, family, and social structures on the artists upbringing. Three 14 feet high walls installed at angles, covered with scratched aluminum paintings, alter the main gallery space in an exploration of transformation and time. A long trough diagonally transverses the sod covered floor. Wooden time capsules encased in metal lock artworks inside, commenting upon the co-modification of art. Finally, the artist’s therapeutic obsession with metal is reflected once again. Arnn’s furniture is brought into the gallery and covered with a metal shell, providing protection for his personal possessions.
