Assembling for one evening only, The Element of Temporary is an event featuring a range of visual and performing arts that physically transform during the course of the night.  These works explore and challenge both literal and metaphorical interpretations of temporality. This event occurs simultaneously in two locations - here at Southern Exposure and at Side Street Projects in Los Angeles. 

Artists include: Matthew Biederman, Kurt Bigenho, Charlie Callahan, Joshua G. Churchill, Sarah Filley, Christine Heinitz, Packard Jennings, Lynn Charlotte Lu, Summer McCorkle, Kenric McDowell, Jason Mortara, Claudia Tennyson, Matt Volla, and in collaboration, Robert Arnold, Sarah Bostwick and Misako Inaoka, and Mariah Robertson with F. David Rudolph.  Performers include: Tara Daly and Randy Lee Sutherland, Liz Albee, Haein Kang, and Jason Mortara. Curated by Ev Funes, Karen Kirchhoff and Emily Sevie.
