For the past two years Southern Exposure’s entry-fee free exhibition WET PAINT received over 600 submissions annually and proved to be an important survey of northern California painting. DRAWING FIRST, our third annual juried exhibition, highlights drawing as a critical first step in a variety of creative disciplines. Southern Exposure encourages submissions by painters, print makers, graphic designers, musicians, sculptors, architects, photographers, writers, and cartoonists. Juried by Ann Philbin, Director, Drawing Centre, New York.
