November 20 – December 21, 1996

Opening Reception: 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Friday, November 22

Juried by: Thelma Golden, Associate Curator, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

Confess is Southern Exposures sixth annual entry fee-free juried exhibition. The show will highlight current work that is either confessional in nature or about confession. From identity to religion, guilt to hidden desires and agendas, the theme of Confess covers miles of personal territory. Like last years Obsession show, Confess will draw a great variety of artwork and artists, including a wide range of established and emerging artists.
