The exhibition examines how cultural workers (artists, curators, critics) engage with issues pertaining to access and makes these issues available to the public for critical reflection, discussion, and debate.

Access examines seemingly conflicting trends, but rather than pit them against one another, proposes to encourage dialogue in their juxtaposition. Access presents art that embraces technology in order to provide viewers with greater access to social and political concerns, and also includes work that questions whether technology is all-inclusive or in fact an agent of social control.
