Amy Trachtenberg’s work is in various public and corporate collections including the Berkeley Art Museum, the San Jose Museum of Art, the Crocker Art Museum, the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, The DeMenil Collection, Pixar and The Haitian Embassy in Paris. Her public commission Ecstatic Voyaging is a 1000 foot long ceramic tile environment opening in summer of 2018 in the new Milpitas BART Station. Over the last 30 years, Trachtenberg has produced permanent and temporary artworks for public spaces, galleries, museums, theater and in commissions. Group exhibitions include The Possible at Berkeley Art Museum/PFA, Nineteen Going on Twenty: Recent Acquisitions from the Collection at Crocker Art Museum, Found/Made at The San José Museum of Quilts and Textiles, Dumbball – David Ireland and His Circle at Anglim Gilbert Gallery and Local Color at San José Museum of Art. Amy Trachtenberg lives and works in San Francisco.
