Mundane Journeys provides walking destinations and narratives through an audio soundtrack. You are invited to check out a CD player in order to venture through the San Francisco streets in search of overlooked points of interest and everyday phenomena.

Kate Pocrass can be thought of as a cartographer mapping out a fresh way of navigating the visual world. But instead of looking to discover new topographies, her mapping involves taking a closer look at the sites we think we already know. Pocrass's work seeks to turn everyday patterns of routine into a series of small surprises.
