Combining the energy of a monster truck rally with the creativity and brilliance of the Bay Area art community, Southern Exposure’s annual Monster Drawing Rally is a can’t-miss event. And this year it’s in person Saturday, October 15, 3:00-9:00 PM.

The Monster Drawing Rally is an incredible afternoon of artmaking and fundraising where over 100 artists create brand new work right before your eyes in a frantic race against the clock. As you spy on the creative process, you’ll see sketches morph into full-fledged artworks – immediately available for just $100 each.

The event is family-friendly and this year is spread out across more time to make sure everyone who wants to can come and still feel safe.

As part of our commitment to support artists during these challenging times, all participating artists have the option to receive up to a 50% commission of the sale, with remaining proceeds going directly to further our work at Southern Exposure.

To support the health and safety of our community, masks are required and COVID safety protocols will be observed.

A DJ will be spinning music for drawing and dancing. Delicious beer from our friends at Fort Point and cocktails from our friends at True Laurel will be available.
