Closing Day Open House

On the last day of the exhibition, join us to participate in a range of artists’ projects. This is a FREE daylong event.

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Steve Green and Kathryn Kenworth will be on hand to welcome visitors to sit and chat on their cardboard porch installation.

REBAR will remove a section of gallery wall and can it. Cans will be labeled and sold to support REBAR and Southern Exposure.

David Stein invites San Franciscans to meet and swap the contents of their ipods or laptops at MP3 Fort and Reparations Center at Southern Exposure.

Survivalist Fair! Come check out the helpful and family oriented information tables hosted by representatives from organizations including Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT) and 72 hours, and get a plan! Purchase basic kits and get involved. Stop by to speak with Sarah Filley and register for a National I.D. Card at the Agency Table anytime!

What's Happening?!? The Youth Advisory Board presents video documentation of an "action" that took place during the opening reception. Using helium balloons to color code audience members, YAB seeks to create a living kaleidoscopic image which will be captured by video cameras positioned in the ceiling of the gallery.  This project was developed through a 5-week investigation into happenings, fluxus performance, and art practices which challenge notions of audience and exhibition.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Drinks will once again be served from the Wowhaus designed Opening Kit.

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Fritz Haeg presents the Sundown Book Salon, a book club meeting held inside a geodesic dome tent.
