Southern Exposure presents ARTIVISM, a panel examining the role of the arts in the current political climate. Artists and activists will present their work and address questions such as:
- What are artist’s strategies for social commentary and political change?
- How do artists negotiate between the communities they address and the fine art world?
- How can politically-minded artists maintain their ideology while pursuing a professional career?
The dialogue will be followed by a question and answer session.
