Renee Gertler is a Berkeley based artist. Her sculptures and installations have been exhibited at the Headlands Center for The Arts, San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, Di Rosa Preserve, San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, New Langton Arts, Spaces Gallery, Eleanor Harwood Gallery and Southern Exposure. She has been awarded the Anthony and Cadogan Fellowship, and been an artist in residence at the John Michael Kohler Arts/ Industry program in Kohler WI, Spaces World Artists in Cleveland, Ohio, Vermont Studio Center, and Pilchuck School of Glass Emerging ArtistsFellowship, Macdowell Artist Residency, and received the Kala fellowship.
