Michelle Mansour's labor-intensive paintings explore the tensions between the scientific and the spiritual-- the corporeal, and the ethereal. Not only is she the Executive Director of Root Division, Mansour has exhibited her work in galleries throughout the US, including solo shows at the SFMOMA Artist Gallery and the Berkeley Art Center. Her work is in a variety of collections including Nordstroms, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and the El Camino Hospital.
