Markers 2015-18 is a photographic series depicting cairns. Through compositional isolation and and the addition of artificial color, the work illuminates the perceptual logic of the photograph and the visual foundations of human communication. Each construction is an in situ sculpture designed to respond to it's environment while also heightening the structural logic of the photograph.
