Sarah A. Smith creates drawings, paintings and installations using depictions of animals intertwined with personal symbols that reference myths, war, and the degradation of the natural world. Recent shows include The SFAC's Grove Street Windows, The de Saisset Museum, The Palo Alto Art Center and ampersand international arts. She was a 2006 Artist in Residence at The Headlands Center for the Arts. Her work is in the collection of The Battery, SF and 21C Louisville, KY.
