Timeformation(s)
Mission Voices Summer students came together from around the Bay Area with teaching artists June Nelson, Joshua Moreno, and Seráb to create intergenerational work engaging with themes of transformative justice and community across the past, present, and future. Students created socially conscious fashion pieces reflecting on family memories and personal historical archives through exploration of everyday materials and found objects. The result is the fabulous exhibition Timeformation(s). This summer, the Artists in Education cohort explored site specific installation, photography, painting, drawing, cyanotype, textile, sewing, and fashion design.
Timeformation(s) is an examination of past, present, and future—with an emphasis on personal and community liberation.
