Open Windows Artist-in-Residence Program

Open Windows Cooperative is an artist-run shared print studio, bindery and multi-use space in the Bayview district of San Francisco. Through workshops, gallery shows, and community events, we work towards socio-racial-economic-environmental justice. We believe in art’s ability to heal, empower, and connect us.

We are offering an Open Windows Artist-in-Residence program, in which artists will use our letterpress and bookbinding equipment to complete a socially engaged project. We will offer three two-month residencies, each of which will culminate in a free public event. The event will showcase the completed project in the form of exhibition, workshop, artist talk, or screening.
