Free Oakland UP is a multi-purpose, alternative art space in East Oakland with curated exhibitions featuring local artists, a free gift/thrift shop and a free maker space with resources for everyone to create art. Presenting experimental, interactive projects focused on functioning alternative economies, the project promotes community art viewing and creating.
