FILF is an annual live music and fashion showcase featuring Bay Area musical acts, clothing designers, multimedia visual artists, video artists, and runway performers of all stripes, with a curatorial focus on femmes, PoC, queer individuals, and those raised in the Bay Area. FILF is an Oakland DIY extravaganza, with featured musical acts accompanied by wearable art “runway” performances, conceived in collaboration between featured artists and musicians. Alternative Exposure funds will be used to compensate participating musicians, artists, and producers for our 2019 event.
