Southern Exposure is excited to host the 2019 Alternative Exposure Convening! Learn about the soon-to-be-announced Round 13 Grantees, celebrate the work of the Round 11 & 12 Grantees, and gather with other project organizers to acknowledge each other's work, reflect upon the pressing issues we are facing as Bay Area arts workers, and brainstorm ways to support each other through the challenges. We will hear from Round 13 grantees, premiere the videos created this year to highlight the work of past grantees, and host conversations examining a few of the issues that we face in presenting experimental visual artwork in this precarious ecology.

Call and responses will be emceed by Leila Weefur, with calls from Elena Gross, Freelance Writer; Conrad Meyers, Co-Founder / Director of Aggregate Space Gallery; and Astria Suparak, Independent Curator and Artist.
