Young artists worked with exhibiting artist Virginia Kleker and artist assistant Lindsey White to make work that explored multiple layers on one’s identity in the cotemporary culture of their generation. Young artists kept a written and visual journal to understand what history, incidents, people, or frameworks have helped to create their personal narrative and the characteristics of their generation. Through writing, improv exercises, and collage, young artists reflected on what it means to mediate oneself.
