In Round 5 of the Alternative Exposure Grant Program, Southern Exposure awarded $66,000 to 19 projects at levels ranging from $3,000 to $3,500.

An outside panel selected the 2011 grantees. Jurors included Julie Lazar, independent curator and Director, International Contemporary Arts Network; Jasmine Moorhead, Owner and Director, Krowswork; and Rosten Woo, designer, writer, educator, and co-founder of the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
