Talking Homes producer, Jon Brumit leads a guided tour of Lake Merritt Loops, a walk- through / drive-by audio collage made from field recordings of extracted nature sounds from around Lake Merritt. The 15 Talking Homes transmitters - appropriated from the technology of commercial real estate devices called “Talking Properties” - placed in surrounding treetops, storefronts, and rooftops, each play different sound pieces bringing a unique experience of the lake to participants.
