The 16th Annual Juried Exhibition is a multi-venue show and is on view at both Southern Exposure and Intersection for the Arts. Start at one gallery and end up at the other.
VISUAL ARTS JUROR
KRISTAN KENNEDY is an artist, curator and Visual Art Program Director for the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art. Kristan curates video, installation, music and new media projects for PICA's annual Time-Based Art Festival. She has organized residencies, exhibitions and commissioned projects by Matthew Day Jackson, Sara Greenberger-Rafferty, Cristian Silva, RED 76, Sincerely John Head, ArnoldKemp, Guido van der Werve and Brad Adkins among others. Kristan's own work is represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery (Portland, OR), and has been presented nationally. She is the co-founder of the hibernating artist collective Swallow Press (x2) along with artist Topher Sinkinson. Their printed ephemera and large-scale temporal public projects have been presented internationally. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
