MISSION LAKE PROJECT WATERWAY TOUR BY LEDIA CARROLL

February 3, 2007 3:30 PM

As part of Ledia Carroll's Mission Lake Project at Southern Exposure, Mission Creek Harbor Master and resident Kevin M. O'Connell along with artist Ledia Carroll will give a tour of the incredible houseboats on Mission Bay and talk briefly about the history of the waterway. The Mission Bay houseboat community is the only remaining of its kind in San Francisco. It exists in the midst of massive construction and gentrification of the Mission Bay area.

A corresponding exhibition of Ledia's maps and ephemera from the Mission Lake Project are currently on view at Southern Exposure through Saturday, March 10, 2007.

*Space is limited to 20 people. *Please RSVP to ledia@lediacarroll.com for detailed directions on where to meet. The tour will begin at the houseboats.
